Exciting News: Nebraska Truck Center

Acquired by Floyd's Truck Center

A white background with a few lines on it

We’re proud to announce a new chapter in Nebraska Truck Center’s story—one that honors our 50-year legacy while opening the door to even greater opportunities for our customers, employees, and the trucking community we serve.

As of today, Nebraska Truck Center has officially been acquired by Floyd’s Truck Center. Floyd’s is a trusted name in the trucking industry, with a reputation for quality, dependability, and deep roots across the region. This acquisition marks a major step forward for both organizations and strengthens our shared commitment to delivering exceptional service.

A Legacy That Continues

Founded in 1969 in Grand Island, Nebraska Truck Center has grown into a trusted Freightliner and Western Star dealership with additional locations in Hastings and North Platte. For over five decades, we’ve proudly served customers across central Nebraska with expert support and a deep passion for keeping trucks on the road.

Now, as part of the Floyd’s Truck Center network, our team remains right here—ready to serve you with the same familiar faces and dedication you’ve come to trust, now backed by expanded resources and support.

What This Means for You

By joining forces with Floyd’s, we’re expanding access to parts, trucks, and service across Nebraska and beyond. Floyd’s now operates from Rock Springs, WY to Grand Island, NE—covering more than 600 miles of I-80 and an AOR (Area of Responsibility) of approximately 215,000 square miles.

This larger network allows for faster service, deeper inventory, and a broader reach—while still providing the personalized experience you expect from your local dealership.

A Shared Commitment to Service

Our values and commitment to customer service are fully aligned with those of Floyd’s Truck Center. As Michael Gillam, VP of Sales at Floyd’s, shared:

“The talented employees at NTC have built strong relationships with their customers, and we’re thrilled they’ll remain part of our organization. Together, we’ll continue delivering the same trusted service with enhanced capabilities.”

Looking Ahead

To our loyal customers: thank you. Your continued trust has made this next step possible. We’re excited for what’s ahead and are committed to making this transition smooth and beneficial for everyone we serve.
