Daimler Trucks has recently announced the discontinuation of the Sterling Truck brand from its product line up effective March 26, 2009. Nebraska Truck Center wants to assure our customers that we will be here to support your current and future trucking needs.

At our Grand Island and North Platte locations we will be designated as a Sterling service dealership. This allows us to continue to perform warranty repairs and maintenance, and continue to supply parts and technical support to our customers for the Sterling brand.

Daimler Trucks intends to replace the current Sterling products with more product offerings and enhancements from the Freightliner and Western Star brands. Freightliner continues to be a dominant player in the medium and heavy duty truck market, and its new products and excellent dealer network will keep it there.

Our company's parts inventory has grown to over $2,000,000 including CAT, Cummins, Detroit, and Mercedes Benz engine coverage. In 1972, our North Platte store was opened to provide you with a second location to find our quality service and parts departments. It has recently completed a major expansion and remodel project to better serve our parts and service customers.
